TOA has contracted with a Texas attorney to provide legal information by telephone on a variety of subjects including contract negotiations, lease agreements, HIPAA violations, etc.
TOA has a lobby team including staff and outside counsel to keep abreast of the legislative issues in Austin that effect optometry. When action is needed, TOA’s grassroots structure is in place. TOA's lobbying team has produced a century of legislative successes for optometry in Texas.
